There are several things to check for if your pump will not pump anything.
1. Make sure your motor is running at full speed, 3450rpm. If it is not then it will not prime.
2. Make sure you have flooded suction or not trying to lift the liquid more than 10 feet.
3. Check to make sure you are not sucking air on the inlet side of the pump. Tighten the hose clamps again. If you are using cam lever couplings turn the cam arms to 12 and 6 o'clock. This will help hold the weight of the hose on the cam and lesson the chance sucking air.
